Day 2 the final weigh in at the Alabama Bass Nation State Championship on Lake Eufaula and the Straughn Bass team showed out! Competing against 184 teams from across the state, our anglers represented Straughn with determination and skill all weekend long. Isaac McMath and Drayden Whitten finished THIRD place with a total weight for two days 22.71 pounds. This finish landed them some new hardware, a $500 check and a spot to fish in the NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP on Kentucky Lake in July!! Brayden Tisdale finished in 6th place with a total two day weight of 22.05 pounds. Drake Padgett and Chappel Clanton finished 42nd with an overall weight of 14.79 pounds. Evan Ray and Bryson Harrison placed 103 with an overall weight of 8.93 pounds. Lane Landon placed 136 with a total weight of 5.94 pounds. The Straughn Bass Team also finished 3rd in the State overall in the 6 Man Team! Congratulations to all of our anglers! We are incredibly proud of your hard work, dedication, and accomplishments this season. We can’t wait to cheer on Isaac and Drayden as they represent Straughn at the National Championship!
