• Studied History and Sociology Education at Troy University and holds a Bachelors degree in History and Sociology Education and a Masters degree in History Education.
• 26 years teaching experience in Covington County Schools.
• Master Teacher for the Alabama History Institutes
• Master Teacher for the Alabama Bicentennial Institutes

• Encourages students to have a deep understanding and challenges student thinking through questioning, exploration and analysis of primary sources coupled with the development of life skills that transcend the classroom.
